Ask me your questions about WVU...

That's counting games that Grier didnt play. We averaged 39 ppg with Grier in his first season back from a 2 year layoff in a new offense. Now he's familiar and has more weapons than last season.

Crawford was far from our best RB. He just got the most carries, for some reason.
39 is not 40. That is the reason for the whole different #.

I understand why WV fans are confident and excited about this game and the rest of the season. You guys have a lot to be excited about. However, we've got some players, too. I think our o-line is going to push WV's d-line around, and our run game will keep us in it. We may lose, but it won't be a blowout. I think we win a close one.

Our DL is probably the biggest change from last season. Was a huuuge weakness for us last year. Definitely much bigger and deeper up front now than we have been. Got two nice grad transfers from USC (Kenny Bigelow) and Clemson (Jabril Robinson), and a stud true freshman Dante Stills. The young guys from last year all put on 30-40 pounds of good weight too.

I know UT will have some monsters up front though.

30-40 lbs? More like 3-24 (lbs), as reported. ...

I should have said 20-30. Reese Donhaue was not playing anywhere near 263 by the end of the season. He was down in the 240's.

We didnt have anybody close to the size of Bigelow, Darius Stills or Gmiter at nose. And didnt have anything close to a 289 lb DE like Stills.

Robinson is also a giant upgrade over Adam Shuler.

I'm not sure if I can remember this much smack talk before a season opener.

I'm enjoying this immensely, carry on!!!

Um, no actually. Nice try though. And seeing as how CB is the weakest position on your team....glass houses

Our corners dont have to stop will grier, david sills, Gary jennings, marcus simms, tj simmoms and crew.

Ill definitely be worried about them in big 12 play though.

Good good good. (WR and RB's) More Vols position groups you're still not worried about. This is gonna be good.

Sills has barely over 1k yards in 3 years.

Jennings has 1300 yards in 3 years yet somehow only recorded 4 Touchdowns.

Simms averaged just over 2 receptions per game in 2017

TJ Simmons doesn't have a reception in his college career.

So excuse me if I'm not exactly shaking in my boots. Sorry to burst your bubble but just about every other team we will play this year (excluding cupcakes) will have a WR group that is more talented than WVUs.

Edit: I forgot. We also have a lock NFL safety in Warrior. And TKJr (our other safety) is maybe a little slow but he has a nose for the ball and is great in run support so it wouldnt surprise me if he plays in the NFL too.

What a dumb response.

Sills was playing qb a couple years ago. He led the nation in tds, was a biletnikoff finalist and is a 1st team all american.

Jennings had 97 catches and 1,100 yards last year.

They were also playing with other really good d1 receivers early in their careers who are now in the nfl.

Pretty sure sills has more tds than yiur entire wr group combined for their careers. Same with jennings and receiving yards.

I live in chattanooga and i respect UT football, but you guys put way too much stock in high school recruiting rankings and other things that just dont matter.

We'll see who's right next weekend.
