I might have to break down and get a can for old times sake. That stuff has been around for 75 years. Some of the originals might still be on the shelf.
 
Probably. I had some of these the other day. Had not had them in probably 30 years or so.

I have in the past, too. Good stuff. I was talking to someone out here the other day and we were talking about comfort foods and such. I mentioned fried bologna sandwiches and they were like...wut? Wut? Fried bologna? I thought they were world famous.

I've been called a "food snob" often. I'm not, but I just don't understand or care for "some" things.

Spam? If that was all I had, I would get on my knees and thank God for food on my table and be glad to have it.

Macaroni? There are so many more "short" pastas that are better, easier to eat and look better (presentation). Let the kids have at it. F Macaroni.

Any type of "Helper"? I can "help" my hamburger, tuna or whatever.... cheaper and better with what I already have in the fridge and/or cabinets.

If I'm a guest at someones house or party etc. I'll eat any of the above and be grateful, I will not "turn my nose up", but I will not use any of them voluntarily.

Agreed except for mac n cheese. love it if homemade.

Behr I need a recipe for sauce to use over stuffed shells. I've been lazy n used ragu, etc but those do nothing to enhance the dish.
