I would take the tamalesWell, here's a story for you when you drop back through. I think you'll appreciate the pictures I include. My friend and I have been playing golf in a very small town called Morgan. If you look up Morgan Utah on the map, you'll see that it's in the middle of nowhere. It's in a valley surrounded by mountains and the closest town of any size is about 30 miles away. Morgan population is around 3500. On the way back, we always pass this little Mexican restaurant and almost always say that we need to try it one time. This has gone on for a year or so. Tuesday, we made the stop. It's one of those very small, almost hole in the wall types. The unassuming name of the place is Luis's Mexican Restaurant. I was served first, yes, there's a waitress/greeter type person. Chile relleno is one of my favorites and I can tell by it how well the other fare will be. When she placed it it front of me, I just stared for a second. As did my friend. I took a bite and my friend asked how it was. I offered a bite and he accepted. We just looked at each other in amazement. This was the best Mexican food I've ever had in this country. I couldn't believe it. Everything was perfect. Could not have been better. All, from a little joint in the middle of nowhere. We returned Wednesday and I took my little point and shoot camera to try to capture what we saw before we attacked the food. The pics below are from the Wednesday visit. Remember, hard to forget I know, little hole in the wall joint in the middle of nowhere. I had Chili Colorado, one friend had tamales and the other had chicken chimichanga. I wish the pics were better.
