Also I heard of a restaurant which uses, 50% beef and 50% bacon in their burgers.

How can this work?

Just got into an argument with my wife because she wants to make beef stew in a cooking bag and I said why not make it in the stainless steel stock pot. Dang crazy wimmens.

we use a bag in our crock pot, it makes cleaning up really easy

behr, this may sound like a stupid question but what is the way you fix fried potatoes? i love them but the same ole same ole is starting to get old and was looking for something different to do with them. by the way, this will be a side dish. thanks man

try getting new potatoes, put olive oil, salt and pepper, skewer than grill until brown and done

Cut up potatoes. Cut up onions. Heat some fat in an iron skillet. Cook the potatoes. Add S&P. Drain on paper towels.

Peel and mash leftover baked potatoes with sour cream, green onion, red pepper, fried bacon, smoked Gouda or Cheddar cheese. Make 3" patties about 1/4" thick. Fry them in olive oil (Sly will use Grape seed) until the outside is crisp. Mix 1 part sriracha and 2 parts mayo. Add a small dollop on the "Potato Cake".

TFG And Volly also have good ideas. I like fresh rosemary with they do theirs.....sometimes.

The onions are "mise en place" for another recipe? :)

Seriously, though, might I suggest also a little red pepper flake, a dash of oregano and smoked paprika to season those taters? :eek:k:
