Have never worked with either before. Fiancee is going to try her hand at homemade cinnamon rolls for Christmas morning. She has never worked with it either, but bought the active dry when the recipe calls for instant. Alton says the instant is so much easier so she is going to try to find some today (couldn't find it in the store we were in last night).

That's why I missed thanksgiving at my moms, but she makes them for Christmas too! Homemade raisin rolls and cinnamon rolls, Yum!

Alton is correct, obviously. I had to learn the hard way. It (active dry) can be somewhat better, but it's not just the extra time....it's the extra extra time it takes to perfect and the "payoff" is not worth it. In my experience the only advantage to using active is not having to tell everyone you used instant, because most don't understand and automatically relate it to "instant potatoes".

Anyway, I'm sure they will be awesome.

Not a fan of anything, carrot, pumpkin, etc. Mint chocolate is what I requested I thought!

I wish I liked sweets, I'm glad you liked it. Figure out how to add a touch of those green eyes to your recipe and you'll be on T.V.

Red Pepper Stuffed with a mixture of ground beef (Beef FD), smoked sausage and ground veal with homemade marinara...baked

Roasted red potatoes with fresh garlic, olive oil, shallots and fresh rosemary.

After two drinks, I'm drunk. Goodnight.
