Yea, I'm glad you guys are having fun at my expense. Nothing like so-called friends making fun of me during....haha. Obviously kidding.

No clue what dumbass was trying to do with the umbrellas.

Starting to get a few thunder boomers zipping through. Yes, I am concerned and taking this seriously, but there is going to be some amazing weather over the next several days. I got my popcorn ready.

Thanks Ill. Things are getting a little breezy and rain is coming in sideways now. My biggest concern now is the surge. I'm only about a mile from the river and have a canal about 30 feet behind me. High tide is 2:34 pm. Expecting the worst of Irma between 2 and 6. Hoping it's closer to 6.

Power went out about 11:30. Raining sideway, up, in circles and sometimes its just suspended in air like its trying to figure out what it wants to do.

Its pretty bad, but its nothing serious.

No damage yet (personally) and I think I'm gonna be fine as far as flooding.

As far as the "nature aspect", its awesome.

Still have a way to go but I think I'm seeing the worst of it now.

Seriously, thanks for your concern. Yes, I will be smart and I have been in preparation. However, no I won't be leaving. If it starts looking really bad for my area, I have a Designated Hurricane Shelter I will go to and will be on a Volunteer first responders team to help any way I can. Gotta represent the Volunteers in Gator country whenever possible. :)

I know this ain't the time, but I have to post this before I forget. Lol

HBPW made (from a box into the air fryer:)) some cream cheese jalapeño poppers the other night. In the box was some kind of dipping sauce, so she warmed it up in the microwave. The sauce turned out the be made of rasberries.

DEAR LAWD! The combination of the breading, cream cheese, jalapeños, and the rasberries were AWESOME on the taste buds.

Nothing fancy, but fawking good!
