Behr, when preparing hot peppers, do you wear any thing on your hands?

The last time I was slicing jalapeños, I had on rubber gloves. After I took them off, I thoroughly washed my hands with dish soap and hot water. Still, the oils of those peppers got to me in a BAD way.

When I saw that picture Volly, I immediately thought of that plant you posted the pic of and wondered what it was. I thought the plant looked like a tomato plant, but the fruit looked like peppers. Maybe sausage tomato? Anyway, that's cool. Wonder where they came from?

Malin, Ive never used gloves for any peppers except ghost. I suggest after handling any peppers, you keep your hands away from your ears, eyes and pee pee.

They look like icicle tomatoes also. My son's theory is that someone has heirlooms in their yard, and a little bird had dinner at their place, then pooped at mine. :)

Craziest thing is: that part of the flower bed has a weed liner and a good layer of rubber mulch. The evergreen bush, a clematis on the light pole, and two hibiscus plants are all that are there. Oh, and one miracle tomato plant. :)

Normally I like milk chocolate better than dark chocolate. But I just had a dark chocolate Reese's, and I think I like it better.

Yep, I do. Think Ill have another.

Behr,

Have you any recipes for persimmons?
Dad's persimmons will ripen in September and if I can beat the birds, squirrels, deer, raccoons, and whatever the hell else to them, I want to try something with them other than just picking and eating.

These frickers are GOOD!

No sir, I don't.

What I do have, is recipes and ideas that would be really good using persimmons instead of, or in addition to ingredients that would pair well with them.

Salsa
Cookies
Ice cream
Cake
Bread
Salad

Lil ones rice puddin is a good idea, if you like rice pudding.

Ice cream and salsa sound interesting.

I don't know of a pudding I don't like. Well, maybe, blood or bread. Those are not on my list of foods I want to try.
