Haha, fair enough. But, even without a M&P I still wouldn't have one.

None of my bidness but what does the grands (I assume that means grandchildren) have to do with getting a M&P?

Just curious and asking because I'm confident you have a good reason.

The garlic press was a gift. Though it is a PITA, I use it from time to time because it was a gift. [This, I will not explain.]

Just found two more peppers.

That makes a total of 3 ghost peppers on the plants I didn't think were going to Behr fruit.:)

Yea, I don't like it too smooth and the more mashing the quicker it starts turning. A fork and a bowl is best, for me, with guacamole.

I use my mortal and pestle, which is a 7" Thai granite with a 8" pestle mainly for peppercorns, herbs for pesto and making garlic paste. I absolutely hate a garlic press. Worthless pieces of crap. Hope you don't have one. Haha. If you do, sorry, enjoy it, glad you like it.

(we * puffy heart * our garlic twiddler, but then, we try really hard not to get too persnicketty about the minor gadgets)

I do like having my fingernails intact after chopping garlic.

Although if we got the black rubbery thing, I have no clue where it might be. But for squishing garlic, it can't be beat. Dammit. And it's very easy to clean.

Seriously, is there some qualitative difference in having garlic that comes out in itty-bitty strands through a press versus however it comes out from a M&P?

I like having the forty-leven-billion tiny pieces of garlic. What am I missing here? genuine question
