Haha. Actually, after posting about the Mexican cocktail yesterday, I started looking around for fresh ingredients. Ended up with that gif.

Raw oyster on the half shell topped with a slice of kiwi and a drop or two of habanero pepper sauce?

Well that chupacabra. Lol.

Hers was a little different. I like her version with the jalepeno and other seafood in it. But, I'm surprised at how much of it I remembered.

It's awesome though!

Not for me. I personally wouldn't use a hot sauce with the kiwi. Just it and the oyster. Might try a little dab of sour cream and a drop or two of Captain Morgan...just for the halibut.

Nope. :) The center burners on the stove hold a narrow but long griddle. I put the asparagus on the griddle, half the tips pointing toward the back, half pointing toward the front, thicker bases in the center over the burners. The bases cook a little faster than the tips, so everything comes out even. I finally found a way to take advantage of uneven cooking spots... As VN would say, viola!

Boy, asparagus has been cheap the last few weeks.

I think asparagus is my favorite vegetable. I like it cooked any way. What did you cook it with? Butter, oil, garlic, cilantro, haha.

You're weird. Lol, seriously, Grilled Ribeye and grilled asparagus is a pair that is damn near unmatched. Take 3-4 stalks, a piece of red pepper cut in a strip, a piece of jalapeño cut the same, put the pepper and jap in the middle of the asparagus and wrap a piece of bacon around it all and grill it. Drizzled with some olive oil.

Then tell me you don't like asparagus. :p

*You can pan fry it too.

I used to serve Grouper Oscar at the restaurant on the beach, the "Oscar" was so popular as a request on other items that I added it on the menu as an "add on" for 5 bucks. We sold probably 250 - 300 dollars a day, during season, just in Oscar add on. Most popular was on Filet Mignon.

Oscar is asparagus, crab meat and Bearnaise.

Those look sooo good. I can appreciate her for not deep frying the shrimp. Curious about the bang bang sauce. It looks really good, better than Bonefish. I have a long story about bang bang sauce that I won't go into, but where did she get the "base" idea of her recipe? I guess Im thinking she has an interesting story about it, interesting to me anyway. I would guess it has something she added or did different than the recipe instructions and is better.
