Your welcome. If you are gonna make one, I assume you found a recipe. My advice is to find one that includes mayo.

If you want to try something "out of the ordinary ", a cream cheese base would take it to the next level. But the original is great.

It sure is good to see you man.

Haha, I hear ya, but it's one one of those things. Kinda like adding salt to chocolate chip cookies.

Haha, never knew you were a mayo hater.

No mayo and onions on a hotdog, or cheese burger?

I like it all.

Perfect burger I call "The Big O" Smoked Gouda, smoked bacon, my bbq sauce, jalapeños, red onions, lettuce and mater.

Hot dog, mayo and Spanish onion.

Behr I know you don't do a lot of baking, but I wonder if I could substitute the red velvet Oreos for the chocolate to make a cheesecake crust? I used the chocolate last time (have to scrape out the filling) but this one is for a family Christmas party, and the red crust would (I think) be really pretty with the cranberry swirl cheesecake.

I love oreo cheesecake, one of my favorites. Wanted to try it with the red velvet oreos. Ended up making red velvet oreo cheesecake bars with the red velvet oreo crust. They were great!

I would imagine your crust won't taste much different, but will look nice presentation wise.

They are my favorite to make with oreo balls, which I will be making for my cookie exchange this year.

Haven't opened them yet, but that's what I'll use to decide. Gonna do a dry run tomorrow night and see how it turns out. Thanks Behr!

Well, did you try it? I'm curious, especially after Windy's comment.

No, we didn't home til late. And then I only got three hours of sleep that night. I'll probably just make it Thursday night and take it to the party Saturday. There will be plenty of other desserts if nobody likes it.

I messed up the one I made for Thanksgiving at my son's house. It tasted it good, but the "swirl" didn't work. I didn't discover my mistake til about a week later.

Cranberry mix too thick?

No, the cranberry raspberry puree was perfect. But if you misread the instructions and add it to half the batter, instead of half a CUP of batter, it makes it hard to dollop it on top. I ended up with a pink and white layered cheesecake.

Oh shti. Haha.

Well, at least you were within the margin of safety of how badly you can mangle the recipe and still get something incredible.

I know, lol. When I started spooning the dollops on it, I told my husband "This is so stupid! There's no way you can try to make a swirl pattern with all of this!" About a week later I'm looking at the recipe again to see how many "chocolate wafer cookies" it said to use cause I was going to try to order them online (they are stupid expensive I found out.) And that's when I saw it....
Transfer 1/2 cup of the filling to a bowl; set aside.
All I saw when I made it the first time was transfer 1/2 of the filling to a bowl. :)
