In Turkey, they serve raki, and give you a small vial of water with it. When you mix the two it looks like skim milk. Raki tastes like licorice and feels like diesel fuel in your mouth (never tasted diesel fuel but that's what I imagine). They also serve it with turnip juice (which comes in 2 liters, lol.)
All that to say, I'm not a fan of licorice. Any chance Licor 43 is anise based?
No, Licor 43 is a Lime liqueur.
Yes, graham crackers. Crush them with a fork, add a little granulated sugar and use it to rim the glass. Like salt on a margarita.
I promise you'll like it.
Damn Volly, I don't know. I just do what feels good.
In a blender add....
4 count Vodka (about 4 oz.)
3 count licor 43 (little over 2 oz.)
2 oz. Heavy Cream
Cup of ice.
Blend
Strain or not.
garnish it with a fresh mint or basil leaf.
Make it the way you want, that should be a guide tho.
Squeeze some lime juice on a B&B plate.
Crush the graham crackers and mix in the sugar (3 to one)
Dip the rim of the glass in the juice then in the cracker mix. (Best if the glasses have been frozen)
Bow chic a bow wow.
