Try another favorite but I lose my patience after 40-50.
Get some large shrimp 12-16 perfect but 21-25 will suffice.
Peel and devein
When you devein them cut enough that they butterfly.
Put a sliver of smoked Gouda or smoked cheddar first then a sliver of Jalapeno.
Fold as tight as you can.
Carefully roll in flour (with salt, pepper, garlic powder and cayenne mixed in).
Dip in beer batter and fry.
A fresh fruit sauce is good for dipping. Mango, Kiwi, Pineapple, coconut, avocado, plantain, etc. (Obviously not all together), the sweetness from the sauce is a nice compliment to the spice of the shrimp.
