That is a fair point and Uconn is obviously a very good team but I still wonder if they had the grind of playing in a stronger conference, like the SEC or Pac10 or Big 10, is more chinks in the armor would not be exposed when most games are going to be battles, rather than a select few.

Arkansas was far from the best team in the SEC but...

I agree about "chinks" in the armor. However, I think that would be a plus rather than a minus because it would help prepare the team for encounters like the one with Arizona. Playing in the American Athletic Conference or the "new" Big East clearly doesn't. I also suspect that GA would gladly trade a few (but only a few) more losses for the toughening that playing in a more demanding conference would bring.
