In related news, the #LadyVols held the highest number of #ncaaW wins (126) coming into tonight’s game, while UConn had 125.

Arizona’s win keeps Tennessee as the undisputed No. 1 for number of wins in NCAA Tournament history.
Means we gotta start playing better and push that number out haha!

First time I’ve ever gone to bed and woken up to a dream. So excited for Arizona, about to watch now.

Proud of Aari. Felt like the media did her dirty this tournament. Best player on both ends in the best conference, a senior and a leader. Couldn’t even make the final choice for AP PoY? What a joke.

Glad she played well and sent them packing. Cannot wait to watch.

Candace curse lives on!!!!!!

Nice... just wish she had stuck that bird in Geno's face.

She has done an incredible job at a place with zero history. Tennessee's own Niya Butts coached there for 8 seasons without ever making the NCAA Tournament and only even finished with a winning record once.

Geno and his girls the past 4 years are exactly where the Lady Vols have been the last 4 years. Watching the Women's championship game on tv. He and his program are transitioning down and we're on our way up. His national player of the year was outplayed by two fine players, Carrington at Baylor and McDonald at Arizona demonstrating he pulled strings for his girl who did not deserve it IMO. Player of the year should be reserved voting until the actual year completes and championship determined.

Well I think you are selling UConn short.... the transitioning down part of your statement.... if you see who UConn has coming in next year and the year after.... it is apparent that UConn is going nowhere but the place they were.... we hate them yes but they are very good
