At that age pretty quickly. I’m sure he won’t be sitting around pounding little Debbie’s.The resources these kids have at these programs is top notch.

I'm kind of skeptical of the motivation.

Let’s think it through.
So he didn’t get surgery earlier because he was told it could heal naturally and that he could prepare for the NFL draft. Had he got the surgery then, he certainly wouldn’t have been able to prepare for the NFL draft.

So it doesn’t heal fast enough for him to prepare so he comes back to school and gets the surgery ASAP.

He also dropped out of the portal, where another team might foot the bill for his surgery and NIL on the chance he can make it back for the season. I don’t know - I’m not privy to what he was or was not told. We’ll just have to wait and see how it pans out. Go Vols.
