I think he'll be great in the NFL if he can stay healthy. He's mega talented and seems like a great teammate.

And they should. AC has already dealt with injuries. If he has a serious one next season with the Vols, his NFL future could go poof.
Many of these players will take $100,000 to be on the practice squad if given the chance. Unless they graduate with a degree, what else they gonna do?

No offense to Arion, but he’s not even close to being a day one pic. I’d say he could get a pretty competitive NIL to what he’s gonna get with an NFL deal and have a chance to really increase the stock.
Wish AC the best a VFL gave his all. I Thought he was on his way to maybe a Al Wilson year next year, strong leader/coach on the field. I havent had the guts to watch the Vandy rerun but I thought AC would spy and stop Pavia. Even though Pavia doesn't have top speed, he just ran amuck on our D. Like I said havent watch the game rerun but there will be Mahomes/Lamar Jackson/Josh Allen/Baker Mayfield etal in NFL better get on the fast track. I said before the game AC & Perotte would spy and stop Diego in his tracks but didn't come close to happening.

Don't understand why some "fans" love to trash our own players instead of celebrating an accomplishment.
I think as long as you celebrate it , you can also critique it too. That's what boards are about. You wonder what others think of certain decisions, coach's ,players etc... Even though they can be all over the board with their takes, it makes for good discussion, or we can Pollyanna everything and bury our head in the sand..

I think he played fine and proved himself. Led the league in tpg. New DC coming in, coming off double turf toe, projected round 2-3. Hope he tests well and it pays off.
I don’t understand posters saying people shouldn’t question or say he’s not ready. That’s their opinion and this is a message board of opinions, which will differ. Those discussions about football and basketball players being ready or shoulda waited a year have happened for a long time.
Nil is one year for him. Pro will be multi year.

Could he not have potentially made more in NIL by playing another year here? This seems like a head scratcher. A bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush!💯
This is my opinion: Yes, he could have made some extra $$ based on his NIL value after a dang good season. But: he might have damaged his numbers his SR year under a new system (learning curve), which might seriously hurt his NFL stock, which is long term $$.

People saying he needs another year is laughable. None of you have played college football at the level AC has. None of you know that he needs another year.
What they are really saying is " don't leave us Arion, you have another year of eligibility and we need you".
