I turned a whole conversation of an app into a fight about Foster. Lol. Sorry. Didn't mean to stir up something.

Anyways...I decided to download the app. I used the "Race Me" feature and I think I pulled a hamstring I ran so hard. Talk about bad timing. I think I can beat his 40 time!

He had a good Fr. and Jr. year. Soph and Sr. were nothing to write home about. For my taste he went side to side too much and somehow seemingly managed to run out of bounds every time he touched the ball. When UT was backed against it's own goal, it was Hardesty that got the nod because of this.

Look at Foster now compared to when he was at UT. He's much leaner and faster. He's still a load, can catch the ball, and has learned to hang on to it.

What??? You mean to tell me that he got better at football when he went to the NFL??? Unheard of!!!

Sorry Reppin. I'll take the blame.

If Foster comes out with a fashion app download it! He was on CBS's halftime show during their off week. Dude was sportin' some threads.

For a 4 year player, sure.

Look at Charlie Garner's stats. If he were here for 4 years, he would easily have it.

This! My point exactly. Foster had 650 carries for 2,964 yards. That's 4.6 yards per carry. For comparison Travis Henry only had 556 carries for 3,078 yards @ 5.5 yards per carry. James Stewart only had 531 carries for 2,890 @ 5.4 yards a carry. Charlie Garner only had 313 carries for 2,089 yards @ 6.7 yards a carry! If you give those guys another 100 or more carries Foster isn't close to the top!

Someone please pull up his fumble #s. And his carry/fumble ratio. It's low - but some people are too ignorant and think he fumbled all the time because every single one of his fumbles seemed to come at a very bad time.

One of the few times I've actually agreed with you. :)

He should be the all-time leading rusher at UT.

Damn Clawfense.

should. ridiculous argument.
he wasnt.
You could also say that Charlier G, Jamal lewis, even a healthy montario hardesty "shouldve" been the record holder had they been fortunate enough to start for the better part of 3 seasons.

One thing that Foster did that bothered the crap out of me was he ALWAYS headed for the sidelines every run.

Had to have been the SLOWEST back we've had in a long time and definitely was the slowest in the SEC during his time. And don't get me started on the fumbles... I will say he lost about 15-20 pounds since he left UT and is faster now because of it so I commend him on that. But yeah I was pretty glad to see him go.

Five lost fumbles in 650 carries (by the way a school record for number of carries) is not a lot.

Lennon Creer had 5.9 yards per carry. What's your point?

He should be the all-time leading rusher at UT.

Damn Clawfense.

That has more to do with the fact that he got more rushes than a lot of UT's former players... It's like saying Bob Knight is the 2nd best college coach of all time b/c he has the 2nd most wins, a lot of that has to do with opportunities.... With that said, AF was probably a top 10-15 all time RB during his time at UT. He was always great out of the backfield catching passes though.

I always thought Foster was a good back & was far from slow he just had that Eric Dickerson stride. He did fumble a couple times at the worst moments & I think a couple times wasn't his fault. Wasn't Ainge having to do a backhand handoff at one time that caused a couple fumbles.
