Arian Foster just retired

Good riddance. There's no chance he saved any of his money and he'll probably be working at Taco Bell in a few years.

What does that have to do with how people feel about it? Go to thread about his atheism if you care to know how strong the butthurt is.

I guarantee you most have completely forgotten about it. Didn't even enter my mind until you brought it up.

He could sure fumble with the best of them.

Odd enough, he only fumbled in college. I saw few fumbles in the NFL from him.
Also, I do admire the way that he was a free agent in Houston but in one season, he worked from practice squad to starter. Then he worked from starter to Pro Bowler.

So what? Why couldnt he have medieval on the NCAA without mentioning Tennessee? Screw Foster.

On some level, I understand what you're saying, but if it happened, it happened. It's not like he's walking around with an ax to grind; looking to bury the program. I've heard way worse.

He's just a strange dude. I get how some people don't like the antics, but the hate directed at him is a little odd.

Yea, I'm sure the injuries had nothing to do with it.

He retired because he lost his starting job to a young kid who has only done something HOFers have done(no I'm not calling AJ a HOFer). He tweaked his damn hammy. He didn't tear anything. He was also active the last couple games. I'm glad he's gone. He separated the Miami locker room with his kneeling bull****

He only fumbled 6 or 7 times while at UT but every one of them either affected the outcome of a game or could have if not recovered by a teammate. Couple this with his whining about being used and how he should be getting paid for playing for UT; Makes you wonder if he was trying to make money on the field.

He had a very good career and made some good money. He'll either live comfortably or struggle with bad investments. Maybe we'll know about it or read about it in his obituary...if we outlive him. Think that covers everything.

I'm not sure why you feel the need to throw personal insults at a guy you've never met. He actually gave something of his life to UT

Thread should have ended right there.

In 30 years, some of us won't be able to walk because we are gluttonous, obese, diabetic armchair QBs.

In 30 years, Foster won't be able to walk because he gave his best years to Tennessee.

You don't have to like him or be a fan, but **** your hatred of him. Seriously.

Good! I wish he retired before his 3 fumbles cost us 2 conf games and a bowl game. Guy should be UT all time leading rusher, but didn't have the VFL in him to get it done. :thud:

You need a history lesson. Fulmer told him after his JR year that he needed to come back even though it would be his 3rd OC/RB coach. He was rated by the NFL as a 2nd rounder. Foster deserved the ball his senior year IMO.

Don't care. Go vols. Glad he made money and that's where my care ends.
