Anyone notice how weird our schedule is next year?

Muschamp. Shark humper. Mullen. Napier. The name of the HC at UG doesn’t matter. They beat us regardless. Napier will more than likely continue the trend.

You are speaking of UF. UGA will likely clean house with the East again.

I like the way this sets up for us. I see us at 4-0 going into the bye week. Then we get a depleted LSU with time to prepare before our 1st loss (maybe) at Bama. Then a practice week before KY which we should also win. Then a loss to GA followed by 3 wins against inferior teams. 10-2
That’s funny right there.

You aren't the only one that wants this.

Dickey couldn’t get Kramer to do it. I doubt white can get Sankey to move.

Maybe we can pay Auburn to ask for it. They got the schedule change snapping their finger.

Our team and schedule has some similarities to Ole Miss’ this past season, except that Pitt is better than Louisville (I think). LSU on the road with a new coach. Florida has a new coach from the G5 just like Auburn. It’s nots exactly alike, but there are some parallels. If our linebacker and secondary groups can improve we could put ourselves in position for a NY6 game.

Wondering if Kirby and UGA will build a Bama-like dynasty now.

Probably. I mean Saban is at the end of his career. He may have 3-4 years left. Smart is only 6 or 7 years in. He is already recruiting at Bama level. I know some TN fans still say Smart isn’t a good coach. I honestly don’t know how they can say that. I don’t think Smart will ever approach what Saban has accomplished. But I think he will likely rule CF for awhile.

And we have both of them every stinkin' year!

Not to derail this thing, but what are the odds OU and Texas joins next season? I know the Big12 said not until ‘25, but I wouldn’t be surprised to see some movement soon. And I honestly think the SEC already has the divisions/pods set and a schedule drawn up.

allegedly OU doesn't have the money to pay the early exit fee and Texas won't pay it for them. So they are stuck until 25.

need 8 wins that includes wins over Pitt and UF. Need a hot start to build momentum for recruiting. 8 regular season wins is realistic, and is enough to build on going forward.
I will not be happy with any progress next season unless we have an improvement to a winning SEC record. Mulligan year (4-4 SEC) is over for New Coach.
4 wins over Pitt and the three little sisters will not impress me nor do I care about a meaningless bowl game.

Well, the problem with getting this done is due to the media, especially those based in Nashville, trying to manufactor a rivalry tradition between Tennessee and Vanderbilt. Problem is Vanderbilt has not truly invested in football. Yeah they were better while James Franklin was there, and by coincidence, Tennessee was so dysfunctional that Shield-Watkins field could have been watered by the sewage treatment plant, and it might have improved the smell. That was a bad time to declare a rivalry. Hell, they could not even come up with a decent name for it.

I messaged one of those media types to call it the toilet bowl. They could get one of those steel prison toilets next time they condemn a prison. But the winner does not keep it. The loser has to display it at their facilities so both programs would get their collective crap together to avoid having it.

Hopefully, this nonsense at Tennessee is finally coming to a halt, and we do not agree when someone refers to us as Crocky Flop. Pray they are not contemplating yet another way to screw up a football program in new and unique ways.

But since Vandy is proving to still be Vandy? Hopefully Tennessee can get traditions started with someone else at the end of the year. And Vandy can start one with someone they might beat half of the time. Like Wake Forest.
