With the increased secrecy over player injuries along with the media gag orders and whatnot, it seems increasingly difficult to get a grasp on just how many players are out with injuries this spring.

One of the things I was most looking forward to this year was making it through the Orange and White Game with our roster mostly intact. Obviously, it seems like that was wishful thinking.

Does anyone have a list of injured players? I saw a reference earlier tonight that the number is in excess of 20.

I think we had a similar number out last year if I remember correctly, and it was the most since 2005.

So let's compile both lists. Go.

Please post additions or corrections.

I'm not sure of the total number of injuries, but if the Orange team beats the White team (and vice versa) in Saturdays scrimmage, injuries will be blamed :)

Do we know how many players missed the 2016 spring game? Will it be more than this year you think?

It was roughly 20 last year, I believe, and I think it's going to be close to that this year. That's why I was looking to put lists together.

Injuries and such a sad excuse for NOT executing! NFL teams have a 45 man roster, why can't college coaches do the same during spring football?

Anyone not making at least a nominal appearance in the O&W game should be on the list unless it can be confirmed it was disciplinary.

Ah......football time in Tennessee

Back up the ambulances and let's play some football!

And give us another year of excuses.

On another note, was Barnett ever here and healthy for a spring? If i remember it correctly he enrolled before fall camp and was out the next 2, right? Could be why he always started out slow?

Now back to the subject at hand... sorry

I believe the number is 53. Also, if someone goes out for an extended period, their spot is filled.

Kahlil McKenzie

John Kelly injured his ankle last week and is questionable for Saturday. KMac, Josh Smith, Evan Berry, Micah Abernathy and Brandon Johnson have returned to limited practice/drills. They are non-contact and won’t play Saturday.

There are a few more that have been dinged up. The M*A*S*H count is comparable to last year-- mostly non-serious.

Bc they don't knee-jerk react to every problem that comes their way? I dunno man, it's one of life's mysteries that you will never discover.
