We went toe to toe with a far superior -talent wise- heavyweight and lost on a missed FG.

We came back when it looked bleakest and it took a miracle bomb on 4th down from them to even get it to that point.

I am VERY impressed with where this program has come from. Please remember this is a rebuilding year with a QB that’s been on campus but a few months and no D Line and both corners out.

Future bright !!

Again, don’t be a dumbass.
To start I love Heupel but this one is on him he made bad coaching decisions at crucial times and it cost us, Georgia is not far superior to us anymore the talent gap has shrunk considerably, Heupel coached scared and it got us again..being healthier on defense would've helped but to me if Heupel is going to continue this approach we'll lose a couple more...either way the guys played hard🍊🍊

People act like we’re still 2021 Tennessee and UGA is still 2021 UGA. Stfu. There’s not some imaginary massive talent gap anymore.

What is it with some of you? We let them punch their way back??? You act like UGA is some second rate team or something. We didn’t “let” them do anything. That are more talented than we are and have a better coaching staff. Also, and this is the most important thing, they have ELITE depth. We don’t.
It's year 5 of the Heupel era....He has to start winning these types of games against our biggest opponents. Continuing to lose these types of games will eventually be his downfall in Knoxville if he doesn't. Inventing ways to lose close games is his MO right now. Depth, more talented, blah, blah, blah....nothing but excuses in year 5. How many years do we get to use the same tired excuses? Are you still going to be using them in year 7 or 8?

Heupel is a good coach....he's just not a great coach, and in this league, that's a problem.

There's nuance here. The coaches did a lot of things right. The way they managed the end of the game wasn't good enough. That decision to be greedy and go for extra yards with 7 seconds left and already in field goal range was a dumb azz decision for sure. We iced our own dam kicker. First time I've ever seen that

I didn’t get to watch but listened. I’ll watch highlights but I did see the last drive. The second I saw Gilbert on camera I knew he was missing that FG. With a healthy team including our 1st team all American, we win that game.

Agree but man Heupel needs to get the Georgia monkey off his back. It is like Fulmer and Spurrier situation.

I’m upset but it’s darn sure better than losing 45-10. Just a few chances we could’ve ended it and that’s what’s tough. We just can’t have it all. Had we been at full strength we win by two scores. McCoy would’ve had at least one pick 6.

That was a bad drive, but georgia played very conservative plenty and just willed their way to victory. I saw talent out playing talent at the end. Every coach deserves criticism for a loss but I saw 5*s beating 4*s when it mattered.
C'mon man. You're smarter than that. Heupel took away the advantage we had by going conservative. He shut it down after the fumble. Everyone knew it would cost them.

Just make the fg. Just stop the runner.
Kickers in the pros miss kicks. Heupel let him down by doing nothing to get closer. That's coaching to not lose. I'm not calling for the guy's job, but he absolutely choked when his team needed him most.

The moment was to big for Gilbert. He was afraid to win. Camera panned to him as he realized he had the opportunity to go win the game and instead of looking excited for it, he looked terrified...like he was gunna be sick. No way he was making that kick.

You don’t have to be a dumbass to at least question some of the decisions. I agree that they are far more talented. But we had this game wrapped just about. We had gained late momentum and Georgia was on their heels. What do we do with that. Run 3 times up the middle after a turnover. Kick on 3rd down when we had 7 seconds left. It was by no means a shoe in. It was a long one.
It is easy to second guess in hindsight. CJH was going to run another play when we got a false start. He could've run another play after that, but another false start would've put Gilbert around his max. It's just crap luck.

Gilbert makes it and few are second guessing the decisions.
