We went toe to toe with a far superior -talent wise- heavyweight and lost on a missed FG.

We came back when it looked bleakest and it took a miracle bomb on 4th down from them to even get it to that point.

I am VERY impressed with where this program has come from. Please remember this is a rebuilding year with a QB that’s been on campus but a few months and no D Line and both corners out.

Future bright !!

Again, don’t be a dumbass.

You don’t have to be a dumbass to at least question some of the decisions. I agree that they are far more talented. But we had this game wrapped just about. We had gained late momentum and Georgia was on their heels. What do we do with that. Run 3 times up the middle after a turnover. Kick on 3rd down when we had 7 seconds left. It was by no means a shoe in. It was a long one.

I think it’s acceptable for people to be upset about a game that we were given two great opportunities to put away and still managed to lose.

But, that is the best we have played Georgia in a loooooooong time and I am optimistic we can win out and still have a special season.

I hear ya but we gave up a bomb on 4th down, gave up a 2 point conversion, didn't center up for a field goal, false started to make it longer, and missed a 42 yard field goal. This was our best shot to beat those entitled aholes and we won't likely be able to do so for at least 2 more years.

It's 9 In a row and we're at Georgia next year with another new quarterback.

Also we haven't won the SEC championship since 1998. I consider myself pretty reasonable, I don't think we should win it every year. I do think for a program like Tennessee 27 years and counting is a bit much.

Cry more. Make more excuses. Heupel is a coward. He shrank in the moment. It's not the end of the world, but it's exactly like Fulmer and Majors vs their bullies.

We had them on the may early and let them up.
Had on the ropes late and let them punch their way back.
I'm missed about this loss, but thats a good thing !!!

Not long ago a loss like this would have been welcomed.

Kicked on 3rd because you cannot risk the team getting another penalty. I had no problem with kicking after the penalty.

“We cannot risk the team getting another penalty”. That’s weak as hell. You coach them to prevent that. I get it happens every once in a while. But to accept a 47 yarder when you have the chance to knock off a top 10 team is remarkably weak.

Heupel folded when it mattered. He needs to learn from it or he won't win at all vs Georgia.
we are going to need a new DC before we can win those types of games. The offense was championship. Heup is our coach and I am glad he is.
