My Verizon bill is not worth it but have to keep it for my business and wife. To me because someone tries to break one off in me or is does not mean it is worth it. I only get Verizon because I need it and $300 for a pair of Nikes is insane and I don't need it because it is luxury not a need.

There's a reason there was 20,000+ tickets left a few weeks ago; they're grossly overpriced as is. I paid $65 with tax and fees for upper, uppers. The market is whatever people are willing to pay....not what you think is "fair". If people want to drop $250 for a pair of shoes, that's their call. I call it good foresight on the people that bought extra for seeing the possibility. I wish I would have been more up to speed and bought some. Personally, I wouldn't pay that much, but you'd better believe I would sell them for that much in a heartbeat.

Well, this was a fun economics lesson. It is also a good internetting lesson. If you want something badly and don't want to pay more than face value, be good at the internet.

I was in the middle of a lesson, got an alert on my phone, gave an assignment, and bought the shoes on an account that had all my credit card info updated the night before.

As an FYI NikeBlog posted a restock announcement yesterday (9/1). They provided links to EastBay for the shoes. I was lucky enough to find it just before it kicked off at 10 EST and got my order through. They were pretty well wiped out in a couple of minutes. I went back and looked, it appears they still have a few small sizes left. (i.e., 6.0 through 7.5) Not sure if anywhere else got a restock. I do find it odd that even the Nike site no longer lists the UT version, as they were there a couple of days ago just stating 'Out of Stock'.

I drove in from Dallas today to Southaven MS. I was at Sports Authority checking out with a shirt and the guy said they just got in some TN Nike shoes. He said they were in the back cause they haven't had time to put them out. He went to the back and got my wife a pair. Fully stocked $110.

I know these aren't the official day zero editions but I just picked up a pair of these on Nike.com if anyone is interested. They are on sale and with the promo code PUMPED come in at $112 + tax. If you sign up for a free Nike.com account shipping is free. My son loves his zero editions but I kind of like these. Not sure whether I would wear them on game day but that's because I'm more loafers/Sperry's than sneakers.
