Brewer was a playmaker in 2010. I expect he will have progressed by leaps and bounds since then. We need a bit hitter at SS, to put a little fear in the opponents WR's.

In the spring, they toyed around with the idea of Brewer at linebacker, but ultimately he will find himself at strong safety in 2012. In summer camp, he will have to hold off Byron Moore in order to hold onto the starting spot. Brewer is back to full strength and should be ready to battle, but Moore is probably the better cover guy. I think both Moore and Brewer will alternate depending on the packages due to their differing skill sets.
