I know a real easy way to beat it. One of it's attacks deals 1,111 hps per materia the person has equipped. So, if you have 2 materias equipped it deals 2,222 hps. If your characters HP is 9999 and the attack does 2,222, you end up at 7,777. If you didn't know when you get to 7,777 hps it sends you in a frenzy slashing the enemy for 7,777 hp each hit 50+ times.EMERALD WEAPON. I have nightmares about that guy.

Yeah, it was called lucky 7's. The downfall is once it's done your HP falls to 1. As far as I know there isn't a way to get a characters HP to 7777 at lvl 99. You can do it at lower levels, but once you level up it's gone. You can manipulate your HP with potions and spells to do it though. It's a lot of trouble though and there are better strategies to defeat the tough enemies.Wow, do not remember that. Is that any time in the game you get 7,777 hp?
What if you set up your character to have 7,777 hp?Will he immediately kill all enemies at the start of battle?
I'd buy it. FFVII is going to be sold again for PC sometime soon. It's the original version though, no updates at all IIRC.Weird. But I had a dream that I picked up at Blockbuster a copy of some sort of non-existent anthology that had FF VI, VII and VIII.
Final Fantasy really started sliding after IX. X was okay but didn't take full advantage of the PS2's hardware, XI only managed to be fun if you were an MMO person, XIII was far too linear and I would never, ever pay to play XIV.
XII was pretty cool in spite of the new battle system. However, I got it right when the PS3 came out so it looked absolutely dreadful compared to how I'd imagine it looked on the PS2.
VIII is still my favorite RPG of all time.
Another great series. Dragon Quest IV for the NES is one of my best gaming experiences ever, with the chapter system.
I only played through the opening before realizing I didn't have a PS1 memory card.
I'm gonna get my PS3 repaired and hold off on any more until I do.
