Senior QB, experience at RB, hopefully improved line play and a softer schedule.

cc, you gotta be kidding, right?
Its a bowl loss, dude. Even though I hate it as much as anyone, it doesnt change what we have coming back.

I know you're upset............

I have none.

Anyone have any???

the only reason you're saying this is because of today's performance. if we won the game, you'd be saying "definite BCS bowl/SEC title next year."

to put it into perspective, this is a HUGE improvement from last season with a LONG way to go.

Again, '05 should have never happened and should not be an excuse for some sorry play and coaching this year. Just because we sucked horribly last year, and sucked only moderately so this year, does not mean that we did not suck.

eh...it should have never happened, but it did. so you have to deal with it and get better from there. it's not making an excuse. i said we still have a long way to go.

No, that's not idiotic. The fact that you said "I have none" was what I took offense to. There are easily noticeable bright spots coming back next season.

Well, as far as individuals go, I think Coker obviously would qualify as a bright spot. Ainge, as well, despite what may or may not be there in the WR corps.

I meant bright spots from this game that would carry over to next year. As far as how well an individual played.

there was that big play to the tight end, right before the fumble. UT's system needs to include the TE in roles that involve more than just blocking assignments. didn't CPF learn anything from Jason Witten?

Sorry, I don't see Fulmer beating Richt and Meyer next season. They have better athletes and better coaching.

Ok my bad, I didnt mean as a whole season. I typed it wrong. Is there anything we can take from this game that is bright?

And i was trying to be poistive not negative. You took it all out of context.

I thought the running game looked better than most of the season at times during this game. Ainge made great reads early to mid third quarter of the game...............other than those two things, No. I didn't see anything that makes me think we'll be any better next season.

The only BRIGHT spots we will have next year is....

1. Meachem comes back. He did nothing today to prove to ANYONE he is a first round pick.

2. EA is back for his senior year and improves more under Cutcliffe.

3. Troop gets the WRs even better than this year, and proves himself to be a better motivator than Fulmer EVER has been.

4. Cutcliffe raises our PPG 3 more points.

5. Foster and Coker are going to rush for a combined average of 160 YPG.

6. Rico McCoy.

That's about it. If we continue to run a 13 year old defense that has NOT changed in that time, then we go 7-5 or 8-4 again and are STILL a MEDIOCORE team for the next 3 years.

I have trouble seeing Meachem as a 1st round pick after that game. PSU came in with supposedly a poor secondary.
