Any better than Dooley?

not in the SEC he isn't

He's been in the SEC for 10 months. So what? He's also following Lane Kiffin & Derek Dooley and played the toughest schedule in the country. Again, Nick Saban himself would have done well to be 6-6 this year.

Your argument is invalid and flawed to the maximum extent.

No bowl game last season no bowl game this season so where is this a huge difference with the best staff in the country?

Were you expecting a huge difference this year? What was your season prediction, 9-3 or 10-2 maybe?

Nope going how I expected when you hire a third rate coach you get third rate results. I expect to beat vandy every year especially at home after having two weeks to prepare. I don't expect to get blew out by auburn and missouri

I expect, actually know, you don't understand the talent issues on this team.

CBJ is a loser as a coach in the SEC. valid and flawless.

he did well in lesser conferences. he might go on to break Neyland's record. he might make everyone forget about Nick Saban. he might harness nuclear fusion and revamp the tax code.

and speaking of hypotheticals, he might make history by leading UT to their first 4 win season ever.

but today as an SEC coach he is a loser.

So let me get this straight.

It's a "talentless" team...YET...talented enough to almost beat Ga. and talented enough to defeat the 11th ranked team in the country?

Is it just a case of CBJ getting his players to play out of their minds for two games?

it is a case of the USC game and Vandy game were very similar.

Both were played close to the vest, both came down to the very end. It's what had to be done with this team.

One was won, one was lost. It is easy to see.

Your argument has no power behind it. Tennessee was going to finish 6-6 or worse, no matter who the coach was coming into this season.

If you want to judge his play-calling last night, fine. But calling him a loser because of his first year at Tennessee shows how ignorant you are.

You think we are better than Auburn and Missouri or you would you have just felt better if the score were closer?

You were asking for the huge difference so I was just curious what huge difference you expected. So are you on the fire Butch bandwagon? I'm making a list, for educational purposes only of course.

Need we mention that our STARTING QUARTERBACK was injured after the South Carolina game? Holy crap, you people are hopeless.

Is Tennessee more or less talented than South Carolina and Georgia?

As I've said many times, I'm holding judgement till next November.

Do you actually think this team will be better next year? Cause I don't. I don't look at the wins and losses but how the team progressed as the season ticks along. This team regressed in about every facet. Unless Riley Ferguson is it we still have no QB and it doesn't appear we're getting one in this class.

This team was getting better at most facets of the game until Worley went down after the USCe game. Losing your starting QB and putting in a true freshman who should not have been playing will make a team look bad.

Wow, so many naysayers. Yes, the lost last night was terrible. He has no players this year and his one star North was out in the first half.

Step away from the bridge, it will be ok and with the recruiting class we have, judge CBJ when he has some talent.

Improvement isn't always linear and something you can plot on a graph. I'd argue extreme lack of depth can hurt progression in a number of ways.
