Ainge was just talking about this and said that Antone had requested this year more time off so he could be with his kids and that probably played into UT kind of souring on him. He said that both sides probably needed the split and that Antone will go on to be successful doing something else.
Does anybody actually know what the VFL coordinator does?
It certainly seems like they were pushing Antone out but didn't have the guts to just fire him. As a former player I know he was doing a great job in that position and it's a real shame to see him being treated this way.
