Antone Davis resigns

This sucks. Mr. Davis was the main reason I got to purpose to my now fiancé on the field at Neyland last year. Great guy will forever be grateful for him. Mr. Davis I want to thank you again for what you did for us that special day. Good luck wherever you end up sir.

The problem with keeping all this lingering no one knows exactly what is going to happen players or coaches and it cost us more than if we said goodbye to Butch last week. Keeping someone in charge that is a lame duck is ridiculous.

This job turned into Antone taking on 2 more jobs as people quit. He was doing way more than he should have to. You can’t blame him for wanting to spend more time with his family. He was at the complex more than Butch and went around doing damage control for Butch with the players. He gave his all and way more

I'd like to know what Butch does.

According to him he's directly accountable for next to nothing.

When he says "own it", Im pretty sure thats only for the players and their execution, or janceks and debords, willie martinez, even Larry Scott, Shoop and the SEC medical concussion review personnel.

87-91 we struggled, but then enjoyed the two SEC championships. It was a pretty magical time for a farm kid!

Those were fun times for me. I was 12 in 87 and really became engrained with Vol football.
