I don't have an issue with him yet. I have said that I think that barring misconduct or other character issues that the likely leanings of a nominee should not be a valid reason to vote against confirmation.

I remember. Pepperidge Farms remembers too.

You're a good sport about it. I still think Trump should cut a deal with Ginsburg to replace her with a moderate centrist (perhaps even Garland) and see how that works just to watch McConnell and the rest squirm.

I know a bunch screeched about Garland being all crazy left, but from the limited research I did, he did appear to be somewhat of a centrist.

I was right, we wouldn't see eye to eye on how dignity is defined since you apparently have no concept of how trumps actions have shed any modicum of it that we had left.

I don't like Trump - never have and probably never will, BUT I voted for him - actually voted against Clinton to be honest.

He is a buffoon, but then why at this point should the presidency not reflect the same level ineptness as the rest of the government - particularly after the previous occupant.

We have a congress of wanna be Machiavellis, but collectively they'd be hard pressed to scrape up the intelligence to match the original.

The entire problem gets back to the electorate and the reality TV level of intelligence and wisdom. They elect the clowns based on their own lifestyle and a ridiculous popularity contest or zoo act that we call elections - all flash and no substance.

So really, does the public as a whole (hole might be more fitting) deserve anything better?
