I'm curious - is there not a statute of limitations on rape? Could there still be an investigation if she changes her mind and reports it to the police?

Someone said the girl is from TN. The supposed player is from TN. The kid is apparently still on the team. So a kid from TN, still, on the team, was "suspended" for a while as things were checked out. Isn't there a TN kid who is still on the team who is about to "go elsewhere" and was a bit of a shock he would walk away so soon after signing?

I know who you're talking about. It would make sense as to why he ended the season on such a high note and then suddenly started sniffing around other programs right after the bowl game.

Hmmm. I do too. It says he played in 9 games on UT sports. I wonder if he missed the September games?

He did. Shows he was at the Oklahoma game a few days after the incident, but then he was gone until mid October. This combined with multiple school changes over the years...doesn't really look good.

I am always amazed that people hear second hand stories of what happened... That others did not witness, then argue about what happened.

Some of the posts in this have criticized the girl / the administration as if any of you have any idea what happened.

You realize the Tennessean story was second hand and they did not witness what happened, don't you?

The fact they wrote the story criticizing the program for having "this player currently on the team" when he appears to be already committed to transferring is somewhat misleading. I've heard the decision to transfer was mutual.

Yeah.... That's why I pointed out that it is all "second hand" at best. smh
