He didnt seem to leave a single ankle breaking change of direction wideout. All of our top guys seem to have the same strengths and weaknesses.

Brandon Johnson is that ankle-breaking type, but he drops the ball too much! He's really good at getting open.

Johnson is good but not great in the open field. Plus our guys don't run by people to take the top off the defense. We have to do it with physicality and being able to outmuscle for 50-50 balls. This is just one person's opinion but watch an Oklahoma for players that seem to always be open by 4 or 5 steps or make people miss. I'm just saying it would be nice to have 1 or 2 guys like that in the rotation. Our guys are good route runners and possession guys mainly.

Good thing is JG is due to throw a TD. He has 1 in 3 games so I'm saying he gets 3 TD's Saturday to bring is ratio to 1 TD pass per game.
1 to Calloway
1 to Juan
1 to Palmer

My point all along. They have big receivers with average speed. Even vs ETSU and UTEP, on deep passes, they can run by these DBs. They can’t vs SEC DBs unless the DB falls down.

No what I would call "Stars" on this team?? No guys who change the Tide (no pun intended) of the game!

Barnett and Dobbs where the last ones!?!

He tried. Came up short on landing Mecole Hardman and Tyler Byrd apparently isn’t as good as we all thought he was.

Skill players are fine. OL is the root of all the offensive issues. They are getting blown off the ball against very bad teams.

Exactly. OL play is horrible. UTEP & ETSU both had people in our backfield all day.

Butch had good players don't arguenl that . He just failed as a coach. 2015 could have been special. It was his best team.

If you recall the preseason First, second, and third All SEC teams only had 1 Vol,TSmith.
That’s 66 offensive and defensive players plus kicking game specialists that had only one Tennessee player listed among the three best at their positions. That’s pretty revealing and pretty sad. Oh, how we have fallen.
