Yet, we replaced 11k of 13K controllers back then with military and management. Looks like about 14K ATCs today, so proportionately less gap fillers today.

That would be a Dem win because the GOP doesn’t want a stand alone vote on the ACA subsidies. Would put the escalation in premiums squarely on them heading into the mid terms.

So when the premiums skyrocket, and the GOP passes no alternative, it will alienate many, many voters, heading into the mid terms.
