another article smearing Peyton

Isn't he the same guy who has tried to pass himself off as African American when he's not?

It is the same guy. Someone dug up his birth certificate and both parents listed are white. Then he claimed his mother had a fling with a black man which was his father. However he doesn't know who this man is. Yeah, he's like some kid making up stories. He doesn't know who the man is but he knows he's black? The leaders of Black Lives Matter have kicked him out for being a liar and stealing money meant for the cause. He has also stole hundreds of thousands of dollars from other charities that he started. Thats just the tip of the ice burg concerning this guy. More will come out on him now that he has injected himself into the limelight. Will be fun to watch.

Shaun King. The same guy that was "organizing" during the Ferguson black lives matter crap that was based on a complete lie. The same guy responsible for the bs that went on at Missouri..is now trying to start something at UT.

What is crazy is there are 5 pages of "the sky is falling" from the legions of miserable based on supposed inside information from a guy that lied about being black for years when he really wasn't. Even going so far to claim that the white man listed on his birth certificate wasn't his real father.

read his wiki page and you will see what a fraudulent, entitled, sleezeball he really is. Imagine for a second his sources:loco:
Why does a piece of trash like this guy have a wiki page

Bottom line.... we're not allowed to have heros anymore. Thats as simple as I can put it, and yes there is an agenda behind it.

peyton and archie are getting tired of all this---they need to bring in their legal people and start suing all these newspapers!

First time, I can honestly say I agree with you. And for those asking who, either you are that oblivious or suffer from some privilege of you own. By the way, it's not black vs white driving this agenda either.

There's really no doubt whether or not he gave her a roman soldier helmet, what would they sue for?

Oh, good, someone has evidence. Could you provide a link? Because the rest of us haven't seen anything that has evidentiary value, so we're still doubting.

That's what depositions and discovery are for...to gather truthful evidence. Perhaps both parties are willing to cooperate with that?

Depositions are sworn statements. Doesn't mean they are truthful. Since this lady had 2 different depositions recounting contradicting events, 1 of the 2 is certainly not "truthful."

FWIW (not much to you I know), Manning's story hasn't changed and matches her original story.

I think the truth, like everything else, lies somewhere in the middle. I definitely believe that Peyton committed a criminal action. But this cover-up situation that King alleges is more of a stretch for me.

What criminal action exactly?

Just three things to keep in mind: (and I'm not arguing these points, they are FACTS)

1) Jamie Whited did not go to the police and file a police report.

2) Jamie Whited did continue to work for the UT athletic dept. through the 1997 football season (a year and 9 months after the incident - and a full two seasons while Manning was still on the team).

3) In the civil lawsuit Jamie Whited filed she also cited an incident where Gus Manning (obviously no relation to Peyton) had passed around ticket stubs with pictures of naked women on them. However, Jamie Whited never saw these tickets and had only heard about them 2nd hand.

She also signed paperwork that said he mooned her and there was no physical contact. Take what Mrorange spouts with a pound of salt. He has the same MO in the politics thread. I also believe him to be a teacher which is scary at best.

I think it is common knowledge to those who have followed Manning's career for a while. But not quite common knowledge to those who are fans of other teams or just football fans in general.

That it happened is common knowledge, the knowledge of what happened not so much. Wondering if you were walking yet when this happened.

She's given three depositions-- under oath-- for three separate civil suits, and her statements are not in accord. So we're not going to get "truthful" from this party.

Spot on LA Vol! Her story keeps a changing very interesting to me and should cast a shadow of doubt on her character but no everyone just takes her one sided story and runs with it. The only media I have seen bring this up is Clay Travis and Fox Sports. I hope they keep getting that narrative out there because it needs to be said. It's like everyone else is too afraid in this PC culture to call out a woman for maybe I don't know not being truthful!!! At least on ESPN this morning the lady did point out this piece was a one sided document. Still looks bad on the public eye but at least she pointed that out and also said Peyton has spoken about this multiple times already when asked why he hasn't addressed it this time.

I'm still not sure that most of the media members running with this realize it happened 20 years ago.

Maybe those same media members will write movie reviews for:

Jerry Maguire
Independence Day
Fargo
The Rock

Or tell us how great Ace of Base is....or maybe loan us a Jock Jams CD.

Well what incentive does Saxon have to lie when he said this:

“First, I have stuck to my same story throughout this drama. I told Mike Rollo the next day and Coach Fulmer a week or two afterwards. I had nothing to hide at that point and I have nothing to hide today. I have never been on Jamie’s side or on your side. I stuck to the truth and I lost my eligibility for it. My redshirt request sat on Mike Rollo’s desk for months as the process was going forward. I’m not angry about it anymore, just getting a little tired of it.

Peyton, you messed up. I still don’t know why you dropped your drawers. Maybe it was a mistake, maybe not. But it was definitely inappropriate. Please take some personal responsibility here and own up to what you did. I never understood why you didn’t admit to it. Coming clean is the right thing to do.”
