another article smearing Peyton

I think this sums up everything:
By request of the counsel of Peyton Manning, the details of that incident have been sealed and three-and-a-half pages concerning it have been redacted from the permanent record (see pages 11-14).
End of story.

What are you talking about? That doesn't sum up anything. It does just the opposite, in fact.

There is no way this 20 year old story would have been so widely rehashed this week if Peyton's team hadn't just won the Super Bowl. It is ammunition (albeit stale) to attack someone in the news to either pursue a narrative (such as a media double standard towards race and Cam Newton's press conference walkout or a media double standard when contrasted with Tom Brady's deflating of footballs) or in some cases even to bash Peyton for over saturating the air waves with commercials (mentioning Budweiser twice) , for being a perceived 'phony' or by people who simply don't like the teams he has played for (Patriot fans). Pure hater-ism.

All I have to say is, go make your own opinions. Read up on eye witness accounts and other public information.

Just because Peyton was a Vol does not make him a saint. Don't be ignorant, check out the reports yourself and make your own conclusion.

Not many people are Saints. I've read pretty much everything there is to read on this subject starting from the time it happened up to today. And trust me, In todays world Payton Manning is a very good person.

Even in the adult entertainment industry, tea bagging another person (allegedly) w/o their consent does not equate to being a good person.

Being young/immature and using poor judgement once while intending no harm does not make a bad person either.

So you are suggesting a 19 year old that makes a mistake 20 years ago is never eligible to be a good person? I doubt yours or anyone else's life allows you to credibly make that statement.

Sealing a record, and redacting pages is "maybe not" an attempt to hide something?

Maybe it's more of an attempt to move on. She got her pay day, regardless of what happened.

This was 20+ years ago when people in general weren't so uptight and sue-happy. Another girl may have slapped him; and they both move on. No story. I'm certain there are a lot of non-stories out there for most public figures at some point during their lives.

If it was Tom Brady you all would be calling for him to be in jail.

Yep. It's kinda sad to see how blind some Peyton fans are. But the anti-Peyton people are just as bad too though.

Peyton is a very nice man. He made a mistake when he was a young guy. A very stupid mistake. He's lucky it happened when it did. It doesn't change he's one of the greatest, and that is all that matters right now. Let him be after all these years.

You don't know he even did that. Go ahead and make up some more stories.

I never claimed to know Manning did anything. That's why I said "allegedly". I read the allegation here:

Leaked documents shed light on sexual assault allegations against Peyton Manning and the smear campaign against the alleged victim - Yahoo Finance

"Here is how Dr. Naughtright described the incident:

Q. Let me be very clear there. It was not just his behind, his rear end, that was on your face, but his genitalia was on your face?

A. That's correct. It was the. gluteous maximus, the rectum, the testicles. and the area in between the testicles. And all that was on my face when I pushed him up and off. And it was like this and as I pushed him up to get leverage. I took my head out to push him up and off."

Ok say it means there is something to hide. Again, does it matter?

It matters if someone wants to challenge the public image of Manning being a wholesome role model. Not so much because he allegedly committed that act (being young and making a mistake sounds plausible), but because of the later cover-up.

Well you read it on the internet so it's got to be true.

It equates to being a 19 year old college kid who acted in a stupid and disrespectful manner (to a woman he did not respect) but without the intention of malice.

The green font is annoying, btw.

This article was written by a Black Lives Matter activist and general all around p.o.s. This is a garbage article that would never have been written if Peyton wasn't a white man who just upstaged the latest black hero. Yes, I just pulled the race card because I'm sick of hearing and seeing this type of garbage from people who can't stand it if someone that isn't of a certain color be praised and respected. Where is the article on Cam Newton, computer thief? Where is the story on Newton's father, a so-called man of God, selling his son to the highest bidder? We all know that happened the same as we know O.J. is guilty. Shaun King proves with this article that he is a biased, racist turd that has no business being a journalist. The Manning family must be the greatest magicians of all time since they fooled millions for so many years. Hopefully they'll sue this fool for slander and put his ass in the gutter where he belongs.

No I know what I think, and I know what I've researched. Do you know the definition of irony? Real question. The story is 20 yrs old, nonetheless, it still happened and has been reported by many others besides Shaun King. I suspect that he's presenting the story now as click bait, and it is working cause that's all they have been talking about on Fox Sports Radio this AM as I have been working.

Oh look here's a story from 2014 about Peyton's assault:

Peyton Manning is Lucky Social Media Wasn’t Around in 1996 When He Allegedly Sat on a Female Trainer’s Face | The Big Lead

Oh look here's one from 2003:

USATODAY.com - Trainer has backers in suit against Mannings

Wow, this one is from 1997:

ERROR: The requested URL could not be retrieved

Wow, another one from 2003:

Lawsuit settled; terms confidential

Try again homie.
The inbred faction just can't wait to post some of their ignorant racist rants with zero fact checking, or a cognitive thought process. They go from zero to redneck at the first opportunity to bash others.
