As it is for Rickea Jackson, Skylar Diggins, Alex Morgan, CP3 in her younger years, Mikeala Shriffin, Joe Borrows, Cristiano Ronaldo, Travis Kelce, and the list goes on and on.

That attractive athletes leverage their appearance to enhance their careers does not make it okay for social media trolls to attack Angel Reese with vile comments.

I am guessing you think if a woman wears a short skirt in public, she deserves what she gets right?

Clark has been an elite player from the get-go and a fixture on the junior national team with Page Beuckers who were the two most highly recruited players out of high school.

Also, number 1 picks aren't exactly "underdogs".


Here is the bottom line. Clark is an outstanding rookie (right up there with CP3 and Catch). If she stays healthy (and she has a great record of being injury free), she will likely be one of the all-time greats.

Reese is a workhorse player who will likely have a long and successful career (and seems like a good bet to eventually become the Ws all-time rebounder).

All the other narratives around these two players are cases of them being drug into culture war BS. Clark has done a better job in staying above the fray where Angel has gotten pulled into some of it.

If Reese could hit a layup she would never get a double double. She creates 50% of her rebounds. It's an apples and oranges comparison. The league was hoping for a Magic-Bird type rivalry but its not going to work out.

Angel Reese is the Dennis Rodman of the W. That is not meant as an insult; he was a great player and perennial all-star.

Caitlin Clark is more like Steph Curry in skill set but personality like Lebron.

Paige Bueckers is a better real basketball player and teammate than either of them.

Angel Reese is the only player in the WNBA that leads her team in all 3 main statistical categories, Points, Rebounds and Assists, when has Rodman ever done that. Or even when has he done this?

Efficiency shows how u are across the board, and Angel is top 5 in the WNBA. I’m still waiting for them to tell me where Rodman ever did any of these things.

It's not "used to assign trade values" at all, Naz Hillmon or Veronica Burton do not have more trade value than Kiki Iriafen for example

Your list is not sorted correctly. If #4 - #7 are out of order, what else might be wrong with it?

I like the Win Share stat, while no stat is perfect, what stat could be more useful than the player's contribution to winning?
