The two coaches on campus that have actually won things are not Danny White hires.
Yeah sure. Running a multimillion dollar business is a piece of cake for us folks hanging out on VolNation. We’re all financial wizards round here.Tony Vitello and Josh Heupel built the stadium. Danny White hired Heup so I’ll give him credit for that, but once you’ve got the coaches in place the finances aren’t exceedingly difficult to manage
I certainly wouldn’t be arrogant enough to think I could do it. But in relative terms it does sort itself out. UT athletics are a cash cow. And that’s due to the fans more than anythingYeah sure. Yes it is true. Basilio has been saying this. DW thinks he is too good to speak to any of his coaches and have good working relationship with them. DW is going to derail the major sports with his interactions with those he works with. He lies constantly about the 75 thousand waiting list for tickets when they just said not true and he sold 13K tickets to the ticket brokers. He is a disgrace.Fanrun radio is reporting that DW only met with Tony one time in the last 5 days. If true, that's pathetic!!!
Danny White is the best thing that has happen to the Vols in 30 years. Every sport is doing well and there is no slowing us down in all of our sport teams.Screw Danny White. That bastard just killed our Baseball program for women’s basketball. Unbelievable
NIL, Portal and player parents is not worth it these days for any college head coach.Agreed. The fact he seemed torn between leaving or staying tells me he was happy at Tennessee. I'd imagine 95-98% of younger college baseball coaches, if given the opportunity to be an MLB manager, would jump at the chance.
i talked to a buddy who lives in arkansas, and the people around there believe that if tony goes to the giants, he will be arkansas's coach in three years or less
