Our military officers are duty bound to follow the lawful orders of the President, they don't have to like them or agree with them but if the order is lawful it is a criminal act under the UCMJ to not follow them. It is up to the Cabinet or Congress to reign in an mentally unstable POTUS and not the military. What Milley is accused of is a serious matter that if true he should be prosecuted under the UCMJ.

He did not refuse to follow any order from Trump. He was only arranging the legitimate and appropriate steps needed if/when Trump gave him an unlawful (immoral on the grandest scale) order to follow.

His conversation with his Chinese counterpart is at minimum Conduct Unbecoming and quite possibly treason at the maximum. There is no possible scenario that should allow that conversation to take place without direct knowledge of the 2 people he answers to, SECDEF and POTUS. He screwed the pooch big time.

I don't see it that way at all. Trump was certifiably insane at the time. The investigation should be into why he wasn't removed from office immediately following the Jan. 6 incident.
