Amateur Hour Continues

I think you’re very wrong that Rs lost all those seats on the notion the Mueller report might show something, and those voters will flip back now.

It had a lot more to do with Trump and Rs trying to take insurance away from millions, a very unpopular tax cut, trade wars, and the understanding that the president probably isn’t the “very stable genius” that he claims to be.

Nothing about those things has changed.
why did the dems lose all those seats in the Senate?

I think you are completely misreading the results of the midterms. The Rs lost so many seats because they didn't follow through on their promises, they had 7 years to have a ACA replacement ready and they didn't. They lost because they were innefective not because people were afraid.

I don’t think it’s a contradiction for us to both be correct for some voters. Rs had no viable plan, and the plan that they tried to pass would’ve taken away healthcare for many as well as stripping some popular aspects of Obamacare

What’s funny is that the turd you hate is about to be re-elected because “he’s a turd” isn’t resonating with the middle.
You’re insane if you think the average guy was upset that Trump “was trying to take insurance away”. Velo was just making the opposite point. He didn’t do it so it was bad.
Y’all need to get on the same page as to why Trump is bad
Gonna have to agree to disagree then

Why do you think that’s something I’d defend?
Why does nobody talk about that on the news?
Do you think that Trumps failure to replace a Democrat F up will cost him with the middle?

Other than issuing orders regarding the border, I don't know what the domestic agenda is these days.

OH isn't typically considered to be in tornado alley either ... that's over in some of the other 57 states. Probably still gonna need a corps of volunteers to help with the cleanup, though.

I sincerely hope the damage to my favorite museum is minimal; I've spent days looking at those airplanes ... some of which my dad and brother flew ... not just that type, but the plane on display.

Which sorta means it wasn't a hoax or witch hunt

Proverbial barking up the wrong tree. Obama and his 27 (or so) intelligence dwarves assured the country the elections were secure. Apparently not so according to you, so why weren't Obama and his gang of morons on top of it? And by the way, there have been a number of stories that said the Russians were stirring sh!t as usual rather than really favoring one candidate over another. See it's really easy to play this game when you don't deal in specifics and equally weight stuff ... like actual hacking vs fake FB crap vs stuff like VOA and Radio Moscow did for decades vs overt attempts to influence a candidate or campaign vs stings put in place by the FBI or CIA vs illegal (and laundering of) campaign donations vs some peripheral player claiming to have access for dollars. But then I suppose the winner can propose to those who play that he will "have more flexibility" after the election.

Air Force museum, I assume. Went there at Christmas. Huge.

How's Trump's Obamacare replacement coming along?

About like a Gordian Knot, but Dims knew that when they planted the virus otherwise known as ACA. It's proven almost impossible to unravel poorly thought out legislation, but then an ounce of prevention rarely takes place behind doors locked to keep out any attempt at introspection or critical analysis.

To me both the Naval Air Museum at Pensacola and the Air Force Museum blow the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum out of the water ... just no comparison ... I will admit I haven't been to the new facility in Chantilly though.

Attention whore

"But if it’s attention he seeks, Amash has a funny way of looking for it. In fact, outside of some explanatory tweeting, he’s been running from it ever since this story began.

Since his original tweets, Amash still hasn’t made any media appearances. Nearly every major cable and network outlet requested interviews with him. Nearly every major newspaper did the same. Nearly every major news site reached out, even for just a comment.

He obliged none of them. The closest you will get is reporters asking him questions while walking on Capitol Hill, going about his daily business."

Did Trump order they cover up the ship, or did someone in the WH take it upon themselves to take such steps? The animosity Trump has for McCain is well known, so it easily could have been the latter. Is it disgraceful it happened? Yes. Does it deserve all the media hoopla? No.
The funny thing is that without the covering up of the ship in the first place, the whole trip probably goes unnoticed. Nobody in the press corps mentions McCain or the often adversarial relationship that he had with Trump. The best way to attract attention to something is by putting a giant tarp over it. This was an example of going to such an extreme to protect Trump's ego that it wound up having the exact opposite effect from what was intended. I can believe that this was just an idea from White House advisers acting on their own but it's very telling of how they must feel about the frailty of Trump's ego that they felt like they needed to do this. Trump is a sensitive guy, no getting around that.

A longtime Republican operative urged Trump administration officials to add a question to the 2020 census form that hasn’t been asked since the Jim Crow era, knowing full well that including this question “would clearly be a disadvantage to the Democrats” and “advantageous to Republicans and Non-Hispanic Whites, according to a document filed in federal court on Thursday.
The Trump administration did add the question, which asks whether census respondents are U.S. citizens, at the urging of Dr. Thomas Hofeller, a Republican master in the dark arts of political mapmaking who passed away last summer. It also produced documents which falsely claimed that the question would “ensure that the Latino community achieves full representation in redistricting.”

So illegals should have full representation?
