Amateur Hour Continues

There's more than a sufficient basis for impeachment. He's an unindicted co-conspirator with Cohen on the campaign finance crime (a felony, to which Cohen already pleaded guilty) and on obstruction (also a felony). Both would be "high crimes and misdemeanors."

To date over 700 former prosecutors, many Republican prosecutors included, have said the facts alleged in the Mueller report were sufficient to bring an obstruction indictment.
Inpeechin' fotey fie orta be a slam dunk. I'm sure Maxine likes slam dunks.

Nothing has been proven against Trump. Right now, you assume he's guilty. Hell, if the House wants to impeach, then go ahead. Of course, no way the Senate convicts, so much like the Clinton impeachment, it'll be toothless. And then you run the risk of it completely backfiring and drumming up GOP support, which is likely. Some on the left have realized this. Why do you think Pelosi keeps preaching against it? She knows at this point nothing good would come of it.

As is, if you go the campaign finance route, you have to address precedent. Obama did it and nothing happened. And as much as you want to claim it's true, you can't really prove obstruction. You have nothing.

Clinton lied under oath regarding the Paula Jones case. He was being sued for sexual harassment. It wasn't a case of a "Republican gargoyle" turning a "BJ into a political crisis". Unlike with Trump, there was actual proof Clinton had lied. Hell, he ended up admitting he lied. And in the end, he got away with it. Impeachment itself is toothless when the Senate refuses to convict despite ample evidence of a crime. For years, Dems have continued to blame the GOP because Clinton decided to lie rather than tell the truth. It's a ridiculous game of placing the blame everywhere except for where it should be. Bill Clinton decided to lie under oath. What came of it falls on his shoulders.

No proof Trump lies? The last figure I saw showed Trump lying over 3000 times. Let us not forget his German immigrant father.

To me, he is like a competent doctor with no bedside manner. I think he is doing the job that I had hoped, and fulfilling campaign promises. This has been difficult, given the fact that the establishment hates his guts because he is showing them up for what they are..
I want Dr House, not Doogie Howser.

Sounds like Ben had a rough go of it. Couldn't have happened to a better lad.

Ben Shapiro Storms Out of BBC Interview: ‘I’m Popular and No One’s Ever Heard of You’
That was awesome, thanks for sharing. I love the BBC.
I don't agree with Ben on much, but he is one of the better right wing dudes in the media. He normally argues his beliefs thoughtfully, even though I think most of them are wrong.

That was weird of Ben to get that frustrated. He was even misspeaking a lot, which is unusual for him.

Word to the wise I guess: don't mess with that older chap on BBC.

Ben sounded like he's caught in the middle of a nooky drought.

Shapiro issued a follow up statement about it where he apologized and gave some expanding information on his thoughts and responses.

Well, there goes the Trump administration appointment. He's a girly man who apologizes instead of doubling down on dumb.
