Trump has gone out on a limb that Pyongyang definitely won't renew missile testing but now that it appears that they have... his response appears to be to just ignore it and continue to publicly flatter Kim Jong Un. I suspect you are right and he will just scapegoat Pompeo when kissing Kim's butt is no longer tenable.

I looked up Cameron/Obama. One alleged criticism I found from an aide (officially denied) was not that Cameron thought Obama was a "coward" but rather that he was a narcissist who lectured. Seems the opposite of what you say.
