Send their asses back where they came from and don’t reward their very first act in their new country of breaking their laws. Make them respect our laws and abide accordingly and they are welcome. It happened once but I agree that both sides deserve kudos for professional behavior in what was likely a tense situation. My issue is those guys could resolve it yet or president threatens military action on Twitter.It is most definitely not a false narrative that armed Mexican federal troops were on the wrong side of the Rio Grande River, on US soil, and engaged and disarmed our federal troops. If India or Pakistan does that somebody would get shot.
Regardless of how they got there kudos to both groups for acting professional, deescalating, and entering discussion to prevent further encounters like that from happening in the future.
Perhaps the Mexican military should invest in some GPS handheld receivers? I’m sure they could get some from confiscated assets of drug interdiction?

I’d say not knowing where the hell you are with regards to the local sovereign boundary you’re supposed to be protecting is pretty damn negligent and unprofessional. I am quite pleased though they had the presence of mind to access the situation and withdraw rather than take our guys into custody... after illegally crossing into our soil, intent be damned.If they didn't know that they had crossed our border then they absolutely were not acting in a professional manner. Nothing on their part was professional.
