Amateur Hour Continues

You really need to find your JFK, Reagan, or Obama. A communicator that inspires people to pay attention to your party’s POV and makes it ultra appealing. If they can’t break through in an America that is “lead” by Trump/Biden/McConnell/Pelosi... I’m not sure when they will.

If Obama ran today on his platform from 2008, half the Dems would be calling him an uncle Tom. Your party ran an entire election on "not Trump". Dems don't have a POV, you are completely fractured. Still, "not Trump" was strong enough to win. To pretend that any good POV would break through in today's society is crazy though. If you aren't far-left, the media will brand you as a far-right hate group. Big tech and the media are so deep in the Dems pocket, you will never see civil discourse again.

It’s becoming obvious that there are very few real independents here.

And there is no comparison in terms of a cult of personality. Trump’s base genuinely seems to perceive this whiny, undemocratic tub of lard as some sort of masculine, patriotic hero. Many of them truly can’t comprehend that most Americans hate him, are embarrassed to be represented by him, and want him gone at all costs. That’s why they’re so floored by the election results and convinced of fraud despite all evidence crumbling before their eyes. Trumpkins are living in an alternate reality.
I agree. Three weeks ago all we heard was how people weren’t excited to vote for Biden. Did anybody even try to say that was untrue? Seemed like everybody acknowledged they were generally voting against Trump.

Now there’s a Biden personality cult? Lol. Is there even anybody defending Biden in the post-election threads that criticize him?

Anybody still trying to both-sides Trump or the Trump cult has no credibility. It’s exactly like people saying that the problem with their party is that they fight too fair and what they really need is to play hardball. There’s just no reason to take those people seriously, anymore.

Imagine a president so bad that he drives a historic turn out for a fractured opposing party that is running a recycled has-been. Republicans have no room to lecture anyone. What a sh*t show.

You are stuck on your side and have your biases.
The Trump fans have theirs
Were there a lot of people who idealized Obama, making him out to be more than he was. Of course.

But I challenge you to find a parallel to this fantasy world, which Trump himself promoted, by the way (imagine if Obama had done that).

No disagreements on the Republicans being **** show. Let's not pretend that the historic turnout was caused by Trump alone. The entire media, ESPN, big tech, etc all ran a rampant campaign against him, and they still barely took the swing states that matter. Now, I don't see it changing. They've all chosen their side. It will be fun to watch them portray Haley, Scott, Noem, whichever minority or female the Reps run in 2024 as a racist, transphobic, whatever new word the Dems have created by then. Bi-partisanship is over like I said. That is good for none of us.

Obama was every bit as bad as playing to his audience
You just choose to believe otherwise

Imagine a president so bad that he drives a turn out so big Trump is elected?
