Alvin Kamara "the best back in the SEC"

He hasn't surpassed our leading rusher in program history yet but he belongs in Canton? I'd take a step back.

Hurd is special. He's a true Junior and has a chance to break the school rushing record with a patchwork OL the majority of his years.

He catches and blocks as good or better than any TE in College. And he runs hard. He's fast. A glider.
Good pad level.

With the right team, he can be as good as anyone ever has.

The guy can see talent.

He's right. Hurd in the right system can be a HOFer in the NFL. He has rare gifts.

Same with Kamara. We're extremely fortunate to have them.

His ability to bounce off hits while maintaining a low center of gravity is really impressive. He is like a ninja out there sometimes. Probably the best receiving RB in the SEC as well. He's going to be playing on Sundays for a long time, I think. Just needs to take care of the ball a little better, if he cleans that up he's gonna go high.

Hurd on the right team in the NFL will be a hall of famer (Say, a Cowboys type team that runs that style)

Kamara on even a bad team will be an all NFL type player multiple years. On a team built for him or that builds around him (Something a guy like Belichik or any high spread offense would do) he's probably the best multipurpose back since LT. He won't be that good, but his talent comes once every ten years or so. Hurd's is just as rare, but easier to do on the next level.

Somewhat agree on Kamara

Disagree on Hurd..

Whatever NFL team ends up drafting him is going to get A steal. The guy is A pure beast option in the passing game.

Kamara and Hurd's touches should be evenly split. I like the idea of having Kamara on 1st and 2nd downs and using Hurd on 3rd downs, short yardage, and goal line situations.

Of course, can't forget John Kelly. I love this trio of backs we have!

I love both of them. Completely different backs. We missed Jalen Saturday on some situations. 1st game without him this season and we lost for the first time

That's how I think it should be done. Then throw in some 2 back sets and even put kamara in the slot when hurds in the backfield on a few snaps worked well in the A&M game.
