I just showered again because I was in a cold sweat for 5 hours straight.

Yup...my ticker is too old for that stuff anymore.

But I could tell a couple of war stories from 25 years ago.

I’m leaning that direction ATM as $470-480 seems reasonable and you get a 3% dividend while waiting. Can’t throw everything into A.I. and technology. Would be more fun if Jax had stayed on board with us!

Datek. Before Schwab ended up owning most of the “deep discount” brokers. Ameritrade (and the Think or Swim platform). Waterhouse. TD Waterhouse. Scottrade. Datek. They’re all Schwab now.

Touch tone trading was $29.99/trade. It was a big deal when they had to compete and got the price down to $9.99/trade. Brown and Company was another deep discount brokerage.

Then if you were really on the cutting edge you’d get a pocket quote machine. Live stock quotes over an FM frequency. Quotrek. Pocket Monitor.
