I heard he's signed a 6 year deal for $4.7 mil / year -- that seems high for an assistant coach.

I think that the mods need to be vigilent in locking these unsubstantiated rumor threads. If you can't provide a link from a credible source or don't have a track record of being right, then these crappy threads do nothing more than clutter the forum.

Whatever the contract will be, it's gonna be high. The man is the coah-in-waiting at Texas. It's gonna take some serious money to pry him away from that.

So we're paying a completely unproven coach 3 million a year? Hopefully this is just another rumor.

If this is true I'm torn, this guy is my #1 target but the money is a little high...
