All things Muschamp (merged)

i thinks true or he would have said right off like he did with auburn that he is staying with TX.

According to 40 Acres Sports Twitter, Muschamp said no (posted 20 min. ago)...who knows at this point?

Enough rumors...only facts, sources, and truths should be posted. My emotions have had enough, and I cant take it anymore.

A "proven DC" isn't the solution here. Especially one at an underachieving program like Texas. I think Mack Brown is a fraud, why would I want one of his assistants? Muschamp will not keep up with our biggest rivals.

so we should hire? Gruden? Who had zero interest? Barry Switzer?

It said Knoxville Radio said that. I remember driving home from ORNL today and our man Jimmy say this. Hmmmm...I think **** is ****ed.

Man with him saying "no" basically leaves us with Calhoun or Cutcliffe. I'd rather just give the job to Kippy.

Home run if true. Guys this "loss" is going to be a blessing in disguise. "Addition by subtraction," if you will.....

My boss has a building named after him on campus and he told me today it would be 5 year 3+ million deal. take it for what its worth.

3.5 never been a head coach, man I went into to wrong field of work.
If there is any truth to it, I'd say it is similar to kitten's deal, where it progress from 3mill the first year, with increase that reach 3.5 by yr 4 or 5.

3.5 is quite a bit for an DC right off the bat...not that I want us to go cheaply, but without a Gruden or Lovie Smith, there's no reason to throw the kitchen table at an assistant coach with no HC experience.
That extra $500k would pay for a OC or DC's salary
