All things Muschamp (merged)

Cut is good. But i don't see him as a guy that relates well to the kids. Maybe his name will be big enough that it won't matter. He's always got the whole manning thing to pitch. But what about a DC?

No that was speculation in the morning, he never said done deal. The poster said this was off a text from a source he received at 1105 today. Obviously, this could be conflicting.

ESPN just reported Muschamp OFFICIALLY turned down the Tennessee job

Hamilton hires Cut, and he might as well resign. The day one of Fulmer's top assistants becomes the football coach is the same day that Fulmer regains influence in the athletic department.

There is an old saying that you cannot go home again. Cut has found a good place and needs to stay there. He knows the mess at UT and has a bad heart. We need new blood and someone who is ready to work for a long time. Traditions are important, but not to the degree of bringing in someone from before. Cut was PFs brain and did the work while he was there. He just never got the money and power that went with it.

In two days I've gone from believing that we would contend for the SEC in two years to believing that we're going to be a 7-5 team for as far as the eye can see. This sucks.

If...IF...it is Cutcliffe, it means that Hamilton is gone. I can accept Cutcliffe on those terms! Hamilton MUST go and go NOW.
