Will it be a net gain or loss for NY? The numbers say huge net gain. So yea you make the concessions.

So the other businesses should foot the bill for Amazon?

If it’s such a great net gain, they should just lower business taxes for everyone. Think of all the net gaining they’ll have going on then!

Instead, Amazon is indeed receiving welfare.

Stop. A month ago it was Maxine Waters. You can parrot that FNC cliche talking point until you're blue in the face, at some point however you're going to have to reconcile that there's an establishment or there isn't, she very clearly isn't congruent with a Pelosi/Shumer establishment. IMO, she's going to feel the swift hand of Congressional career politicians pimp slapping her into her place.

The chair of the Democratic Party just embraced progressive insurgent Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, calling her 'the future of our party'

This isn’t an FNC parrot . Just so you know

Like every resident of California, NY, and some others. Tax the crap out of residents so they can file a SALT deduction to the feds. Individual and state welfare.

I would hope they would do the same for everyone. I am also not going to blame Amazon for taking advantage. I would hope the government would say hey maybe this would work for all companies.

Amazons job isn’t to look out for anyone besides their shareholders. That’s it. Mom and pops can blame them all they want but they are pointing their finger in the wrong direction.

The reference made was that she was the "face of", indicating present tense. She isn't. As I stated, Maxine Waters was labeled that just last month. Future of the party, possibly. Time will tell.

I believe that wing wants her to be , but without term limits it’s just not possible I don’t think .

They won’t be lowering the cost of business for everyone. It was a **** measuring contest to see who could land Amazon.

I doubt the taxpayers and the existing business base even had a vote in the matter.

WGAS? She’s dumber than a sack of gibbon ****. They will consume themselves, in due time.

For starters, their version of “green” energy is not green, it just moves the location of the carbon emissions.

What version is that?

Maxine hasn't been and never was. Now, is she full on batsh!t crazy, that is undeniable after hearing her rhetoric repeated.

I haven't been able to view FNC much this week or last, work and other projects have occupied my time. However, I do listen to other cable news outlets during my commute (mostly MSNBC and/or CNN) and for that time, Ocasio Cortez has been the focal point at times during each broadcast. It appears you either fail to see or prefer to have selective amnesia prior to the November election, she achieved rock star status and was on EVERY MSM NETWORK that was able to book her. And why was that you may ask...only because she won a primary in NY while claiming to be the next "Jenny from the bronx " and embracing her socialism platform.

Again...where have you been since her primary win? She was embraced and had difficulty managing all of the interview requests because she was and will be the face of the party.

This doesn't even make sense. She had trouble managing the interviews because of your insistence that she's "the face"?

You're trying too hard.

What version is that?

The version that democrats adamantly refuse to consider—solar and electric vehicles are not green.

Are the elements and raw materials comprising the panels/components mined (and subsequently transported) with emissionless processes? Nope.

Are the panels/components made with emissionless processes? Nope.

Are plants manufacturing the panels/components with 100% green energy? Nope.

Are the finished products transported with emissionless vehicles? Nope.

Maintenance and usable life are other factors which contribute to—you guessed it—emissions.

See all the above for electric vehicles, plus, don’t forget about the power consumption for charging (likely from coal, fossil fuel or a less than 100% green source), and it is plain to see that you’ve merely “moved” your pollution. So no, you can’t say, “nuh uh, it wudn’t me, I didn’t do nuffin!”

“Green” (alternate) energy is a play on people who are consumed with fear and idiocy. Al Gore has made a damn fool of untold millions, all the while enriching himself at the expense of their intelligence (lack of?). You granola-crunching libbies are “so educated,” but practically all of you have failed to step through what I just laid out.

I agree 100% with her on this. The incentives tied to the Amazon deal are worth over a billion between NY and VA.

An Uber successful company like amazon should get another foot up on the competition by lowering their operating costs at the expense of the taxpayer? While they drive up wages that will likely push smaller firms out of the market?
So you subscribe to government math too I see. Take something that you don't already have, project the taxation you COULD be getting from it, and put it in the loss column. Brilliant way to villify a company that will produce far more revenue in the area than you would have without their employees. Just ****ing brilliant.
