Will it be a net gain or loss for NY? The numbers say huge net gain. So yea you make the concessions.
Stop. A month ago it was Maxine Waters. You can parrot that FNC cliche talking point until you're blue in the face, at some point however you're going to have to reconcile that there's an establishment or there isn't, she very clearly isn't congruent with a Pelosi/Shumer establishment. IMO, she's going to feel the swift hand of Congressional career politicians pimp slapping her into her place.
So the other businesses should foot the bill for Amazon?
If it’s such a great net gain, they should just lower business taxes for everyone. Think of all the net gaining they’ll have going on then!
Instead, Amazon is indeed receiving welfare.
The chair of the Democratic Party just embraced progressive insurgent Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, calling her 'the future of our party'
This isn’t an FNC parrot . Just so you know

I would hope they would do the same for everyone. I am also not going to blame Amazon for taking advantage. I would hope the government would say hey maybe this would work for all companies.

The reference made was that she was the "face of", indicating present tense. She isn't. As I stated, Maxine Waters was labeled that just last month. Future of the party, possibly. Time will tell.
Maxine hasn't been and never was. Now, is she full on batsh!t crazy, that is undeniable after hearing her rhetoric repeated.
I haven't been able to view FNC much this week or last, work and other projects have occupied my time. However, I do listen to other cable news outlets during my commute (mostly MSNBC and/or CNN) and for that time, Ocasio Cortez has been the focal point at times during each broadcast. It appears you either fail to see or prefer to have selective amnesia prior to the November election, she achieved rock star status and was on EVERY MSM NETWORK that was able to book her. And why was that you may ask...only because she won a primary in NY while claiming to be the next "Jenny from the bronx " and embracing her socialism platform.
Again...where have you been since her primary win? She was embraced and had difficulty managing all of the interview requests because she was and will be the face of the party.
What version is that?
Doesn’t seem like a good way to start. But you are right.I think the establishment Dems will ostracize her if she doesn't fall into line. She may start with the purist of socialist intentions but she'll either play the game or get kicked off the team.
They did.Maybe Amazon will rethink their decision and move to states that actually wanted them there?
lol..jk..they wont.
I would give almost anything if Bezos would say "Yeah, she's right. We are gonna open our HQ and the 25,000 jobs in Nashville"A pig somewhere just got its wings and is starting to fly. The National Review defends ocasio cortez

So you subscribe to government math too I see. Take something that you don't already have, project the taxation you COULD be getting from it, and put it in the loss column. Brilliant way to villify a company that will produce far more revenue in the area than you would have without their employees. Just ****ing brilliant.I agree 100% with her on this. The incentives tied to the Amazon deal are worth over a billion between NY and VA.
An Uber successful company like amazon should get another foot up on the competition by lowering their operating costs at the expense of the taxpayer? While they drive up wages that will likely push smaller firms out of the market?
